About the role
From meats and cheeses to antipasto, you’ll handle some delicious products. With a focus on behind the glass ‘in the deli’, we deliver a consistent and fresh customer service experience with our wide range of products. Always ensuring product quality, date checks and the highest food safety standards.
What you'll do
- Work with a diverse range of people in an industry facing rapid change, you’ll gain real-world experience and grow as a person
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in the deli section.
- Prepare, slice, and package meats, cheeses, and other deli items according to customer specifications and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli counter and surrounding work areas.
- Monitor product freshness and rotation, ensuring high-quality items are available for customers.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and updating product displays.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products.
