About the role

 

As Fruit & Veg Manager you will lead, manage, and support a team to provide an exceptional level of service to all Online customers by ensuring stock is available when required to support picking of Online orders. You will lead the Fruit & Veg department end to end, including inventory routines, end to end replenishment, promo planning, quality standards and adherence to food safety process and procedures.

 

What you'll do

 

  • Achieve customer loyalty by meeting optimal order targets and budgets.
  • Collaborate with the Fulfilment team to maintain high On Shelf Availability (OSA) and reduce Out of Stocks (OOS).
  • Reach complete order targets through effective substitutions.
  • Meet stock loss targets by adhering to processes and working with eComX merchandise and replenishment teams.
  • Use tools and reports to forecast online sales and adjust replenishment plans accordingly.
  • Lead initiatives that prioritise safety and ensure compliance with Woolworths safety and food safety standards across all operations.Lead by example in demonstrating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, ensuring that the team consistently prioritises the customer experience in all operations.
  •  Facilitate onboarding and role-specific training for new team members.

 

What you'll bring

 

  • Retail management experience
  • Fruit & Veg trading department management experience
  • Experience in best inventory management practices
  • Experience in promotional planning
  • Knowledge of Online order fulfilment processes and systems
  • Understanding of outbound transport processes
  • Experience working to a budget to achieve business targets including CODB and throughput
  • Previous experience leading and developing a diverse team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing the performance, development and engagement of team members
